First Friend's First Birthday Party

Today was Cole's first birthday.

The first of many first birthdays that are coming up over the next month.

Piper had so much fun! 

She totally took over the new toys that Cole received as presents.

Then, when we got home, she practically begged me to put her to bed.

Now I'm excited for her birthday party that's coming up on Saturday!

Fashion Diva

Have I mentioned that I have a girly-girl that just LOVES clothes?!

Yes.

Even with all of the toys around on Christmas morning, 

Piper took multiple opportunities to "hug" her clothes!

A couple of days after Christmas, 

she pulled out her pile from under the tree and hugged it all again!

"Helping" to pack up the Christmas decor!

 Yesterday evening, we decided it was time to put away the Christmas decorations for this year.

Piper disagreed.

We put the decorations IN the box,

she took them OUT!

Even the snowman tree topper that she was afraid of before!!

A Trick of the Light!

Mark decided to teach Piper how to turn off the light using the pull chords.

I love her reactions as things just get more and more fun!

At first it was just fun to be up high!

Then it was fun to try to grab the strings!!

Then it was fun to hold the string!!!

Then it was "Holy Moly! Did you just see what happened?"
"Where did the light go?"
"I think I just peed in my pants a little bit!"

Oh the fun of having multiple flights of stairs in you house, 

with a baby gate at each set,

a dog

and a baby.

Piper's Pearly Whites

I've had a few people asking me about Piper's teeth lately.

Well, it took us almost 10 months and a trip to Newfoundland to get any, 

but we did end up with four teeth in four weeks!

No new teeth since.

Perhaps we'll have to go back to Newfoundland to get more!
