How Many Newfies Does it Take?

Yes.

How many Newfies does it take to bathe a newborn?

Apparently FIVE.

If Piper can be counted as a Newfie.

I think she can.

She was born in the NWT.

Lives in PEI.

But has pure Newfie blood in her veins.

She definitely counts as a Newfie!

So FIVE it is!

Some day she will be paying a LOT of money to have someone wash her hair!
For now she'll have to settle for Mommy!
And in my defense of how huge I look in this photo,
I did indeed gain 85 pounds with Elliotte,
but since having her I've been FREEZING
and am wearing 4 layers of shirts/sweaters here. :-)

Double Diaper Duty

Who ever thought that changing diapers could be so fun?

At the slightest mention of Elliotte having a dirty diaper,

Piper is on top of it!

It seems to be the most exciting part of her day,

especially if she has poop!

It's a good thing that Miss P is around to help Daddy.

Elliotte's little arms and legs don't stay still for a moment

during a diaper change.

That's why Piper is laughing in the photo.

Elliotte's little hand kept touching Piper,

which set Piper into fits of giggles

as she exclaimed that "Elle-it's touching me"!

Every year,

we celebrate our birthdays.

Piper has her eye on the prize!

Officially a Big Sister!!

On Thursday, February 27th, 2014 at 6:48 pm, 

Piper officially became a big sister!

Our little family welcomed Elliotte Paige Lynch

into our world

weighing in at 8 pounds 5.5 ounces

and measuring 21 inches long.

We couldn't be happier!!

But we're also very very tired.

Elliotte and I were finally discharged from the hospital yesterday

and are happy to be home.

I will post a few photos now,

but will add descriptions later.

Much too tired now!
