Old Mother Hubbard

Elliotte is funny.

A couple of weeks ago,
she graduated from the wounded soldier crawl,
to the real deal...
unless she's not wearing pants.

If she isn't wearing pants,
then she moves around more like a half squished spider!

Hey!
Whatever works!

As for Miss Piper,
she's feeling much better and instead of me taking care of her now,
she's well enough to take care of Blue.

She loves to go to the cupboard to get him bones.

It's cute to watch,
but expensive.

If you don't keep an eye on her,
she will feed him an entire box of bones within a couple of days.

That's why I had to be so sure to remove the box of bones
from the cupboard today.

Our Blue Bear has an appointment with the vet tomorrow morning
and has to fast for 24 hours.

I could control the dog bowl.
I could control the cookie cupboard.
But I could not control the random Cheerios and bits of meatballs
being thrown onto the floor by our soon-to-be toddler during supper.

KIDS!

Chasing her little police car on one foot and one knee!
Transitioning from ceramic tile to hardwood is especially tricky!
Back to the squished spider crawl.
She even does it on the foam matt.
No pants = No standard crawling.
Mother Hubbard fetching her poor dog a bone.
Yesterday the cupboard was not bare.
Today is a different story.
Sorry Blue!
Happy little helper!

Sleepy Shopper

These photos were taken four days ago on February 19th.

It was our first time out of our house
post sickness
and post big snow storm.

It is quite evident from the photos
that we were not yet fully recuperated quite yet.

This was our poor little Piper by the time we left Superstore.
We were only there for a short time to grab essentials!
That flu really kicked her little behind!
Decked out in a much more comfy ride,
this little one faired a little better.

Mama ME-A

When Mark is off,
I try to take some time to spend with each of my girls alone,
so they have a little one on one time with their momma.

This week Piper and I did a little shopping and sliding together.

While we were out having fun,
a certain little someone was missing me!

Here's the view of our house from the backyard.
The downstairs windows have been lost for a while now and Mark had to shovel out the upstairs windows last week. The gigantic Rhododendron has also disappeared.
Makes for a great sliding hill.

The view of us boarding the sled from our livingroom window.
Our deck made a great launch pad!
Our little snow queen.
This little one stayed with daddy.
While he took his eyes off of her for a short moment,
Elliotte crawled into Piper's room and he found her like this.
She had found my nightgown and proceeded to cuddle it and suck her thumb.
She loves me!!!

Feeling Better Beauties

My girls finally seem to be back to normal,
with the exception of a little cough and stubborn runny noses.

Elliotte is taking a little more time,
but she will be fine to partake in birthday celebrations next week!

Valentine cupcakes for my little cupcake.
A cupcake for this little cupcake, Mommy?
One more week baby girl.
One more week!

Sudsy Showdown

It was very hard to get a photo of both girls looking at the camera.

That's because they couldn't take their eyes off of each other!

You're beautiful. You beautifuller. (Frozen fans would appreciate this!)
Sudsy Sisters
Piper's hairdo was thanks to Elliotte's handiwork.

And vice versa.

Glow Girls

As if bath time isn't fun enough already...

... we decided to do this!
Yep! Piper thought it was fantastic,
but it was Elliotte that giggled the entire time!
