but we had fun celebrating Eli's first birthday 

while they were here visiting!

Four very excited little kids!

I only had 1.5 hours to pound out a cake.
Sorry Eli, but this was the best that Aunt Karla could do.

He didn't seem too disappointed!

Elliotte had some trouble keeping her hands to herself.
This little ham LOVES cake.

And waiting for Aunt Krista to serve the cake took a
loooooooooooog time in this 2 year old's life.

Very pleased with the mess he's making.
