It's 2016!!

What better way to start the new year

than celebrating with family.

Uncle Debra came to visit!!

That's according to Piper. 

To the rest of us they're Uncle Bill and Aunt Debra. 

The girls went completely foolish and showed off like it was their job.

It was a little embarrassing to be honest,

but it shows they're healthy, right?!

To add to their visit,

the new year started with Piper and Elliotte

BOTH waking around 11:30

and refusing to go back to sleep until after 1:00am.

And no, there were no fireworks here to keep them awake.

They just conspired to start Mommy's year off as very very tired.

Elliotte thought that January 1, 2016

would also be a great day to:

1. refuse to get dressed

2. remove her diaper multiple times

3. refuse to nap

4. pee on the bathroom floor and then stomp in it like a rain puddle

Yes.

I think it's safe to say that 2016 is going to be an interesting year 

in our house!

Piper received an early birthday present from her "uncle debra" today.
A Crayola tote of goodness.
Here she is sniffing each of the scented markers.
We both agreed that the Cotton Candy smelled the yummiest
and the Barn Yard smelled the worst!
