McHappy Day 2015

Last year on McHappy Day our little Elliotte was left out.

Too small.

But this year she walked in there like she owned the place!

She even ate more than her sister.

I'm not sure if I should be proud of that or not,

seeing as how it's McDonald's,

but once in a blue moon can't hurt. 

Right?!

Of course, having Nana there to share the fun

was the biggest bonus of all!

One year ago.
Wow.
Piper newly two and in a high chair
and Elliotte three months old in a bucket car seat.
Time really does fly!

No high chairs for this one anymore.
Not even a booster at the restaurant!

This little one is quit happy to sit in the high chair
as long as it means that she gets to eat too!

I think Nana was trying to distract Elliotte with her little pony Happy Meal toy here.
She's very wiggly when it comes to getting dressed.
Sometimes I think it would be easier to wrangle a crocodile
than put a diaper on this one!

PS.

Night three with the girls sharing a room was a success. Elliotte only woke once during the night, which means that she's back to being her sweet little sleeping self. We had a nasty ol' tooth to blame. But that just means that she has one more, which also means that we're one tooth closer to being finished with teething!!! Piper also woke up once last night, which meant that I STILL had to get up twice. Sigh. Oh well. I'll take one for the team. I really thought this room sharing business was going to be much more difficult at this age. Leave it to me to underestimate my children. Lesson learned!
