Back to the Future

Last year I blogged about a trip to the water park with Jack.

Piper wanted to get on the little car and boats rides,

yet cried and cried when she was actually on them.

She couldn't get enough of the waterslides,

but the amusement park rides were simply a no go!

This year I didn't have high expectations again.

Going to the water park 

I figured we'd head straight to splash pool

and spend the day riding the slides.

Surprise!

Once again my child blindsided me 

by almost pushing her way to the front of the line 

in order to get on the car/boat rides.

What a difference one year can make!

As for Elliotte... 

well there is no holding that child back.

If Piper is doing it, 

then she is too.

What a trooper,
even thought the seat was too hot
and was probably burning her legs. Ha!

Elliotte was excited just to wave to her big sister
each time she went around.

You could hear both of my girls squealing for the duration of the ride!

Water park fun!

Elliotte first time on the water slides.
She tapped her little fingers together to tell us "more"!

Piper's first time riding the water slide alone!
She started out siting on her bum.
I'm not too sure how she got turned around like this.

Elliotte found this little 'stump' in the wading pool.
She would climb up on it,
stand up,
and then hold my hands to jump into the pool.
I'm not kidding when I say that she did this at least 50 times.

Climbing and jumping is absolutely exhausting.
This is where Elliotte ended up not long after we exited the pool.

She passed out for at least an hour or more!

While Elliotte was napping,
Piper was busy enjoying the rest of the park.
The carousel is by far one of her favourites.
She followed this with the pumpkins and a hayride.
Too bad Elliotte missed it.
