It really is the little things in life
that make the biggest impact sometimes.
Last Monday, I dropped Piper off at preschool
and headed to the grocery store.
Before I left preschool,
I noticed that the teachers had place the little Thanksgiving tree in the porch.
I took a moment to read the leaves.
Piper's leaf melted my heart.
What a wonderful big sister.
You know, when she's not bugging the life out of her.
My first stop at the grocery store
was to grab a bunch of bananas.
Elliotte kept pointing at them and crying "nana, nana".
I couldn't give her one for two reasons:
1. They weren't paid for.
2. They were green. All of them.
I told her that we'd look for some over ripe bananas as we shopped,
and if we found one, I'd buy it and she could eat it.
(I'm sure she didn't understand a thing that I said,
but I had to say something!)
Well wasn't I pleased when I found a Healthy Snack Basket
at the end of one of the produce aisles.
I couldn't help but stop and take a photo.
I was thrilled.
Elliotte was thrilled.
Mark was embarrassed that I was taking photos of a basket of fruit...
all was great!

The coolest basket of fruit ever. A free healthy snack for kids while they shop. I LOVE this! |
I love this more though! |
