Nuts for "Nay-son"

Sorry for neglecting my blog for the past two nights,
but we were visiting friends near New Minas, Nova Scotia
and having so much fun!

Piper especially.
She just adores "Nayson".

For the first time in at least a month,
she didn't wake up saying "Ernie".
It was "Nayson, Nayson, Nayson"!

It may have even been cute,
IF IT WASN'T 6:30 IN THE MORNING!

I guess we all woke up that excited
when we first fell in love.
Ha!

I wish I had stopped chatting with Nathan's mom
long enough on the first day to take more photos.
I missed some great shots on that day.
  • Nathan taking Piper by the hand and showing her around his yard
  • Nathan showing Piper his windmill
  • The two rascals rolling down a grassy hill
  • Eating ice cream and feeding a goat the cone
  • I could go on and on.

It really was a lovely visit
and the kids really seemed to enjoy themselves.

On day two,
we went to Lunenburg.

There, I did take more photos,
but still wish I had taken more!

Here are a few of the great moments we captured during our visit.

I will share more over the next few days!

xo

Hello?!
Calling each other on their "cell phones".
Aka pumps for pumping up balloons!
Imagination overload with these two.
Watching Harold and the Purple Crayon is serious business.
Note: Even though she woke up saying Nayson and not Ernie,
as you can see, Ernie is very much still in the picture!
(Thank you KA for the awesome Ernie doll!)
Why are you making us sit in this chair together
where there are places to run
and toys to play with???
