The Wheels on the Bus

 I'm not sure if I'm mentioned this in earlier posts or not,

but Piper has become facinated with buses.

One day while we were driving, 

she saw one and said "Wow"!

I said "bus".

Piper repeated me and hasn't stopped saying it since.

Now if I ask her if she'd like to go for a ride in the car with me,

she immediately looks at me wide eyed and says "BUS?"

So, as soon as we're on the road, we are on a BUS lookout!

It can be a dump truck, transport truck, fire truck, 

you name it,

as long as it's big and loud,

Piper will excitedly shout "BUS"!

This has been going on for about a month now!

This is where we must be sure to send a special

shout-out to Aunt Cindy and Uncle Phil

to say thank you for the Toys R Us gift card 

that they gave to Piper for Christmas.

Since there was no Toys R Us in Yellowknife,

we've held on to it until now.

Christmas in July??

Whatever the case,

we used it last week to buy Piper her very own BUS!!

Honestly,

a real life pony wouldn't have made her any happier!

It is a 45 minute drive home from the nearest Toys R Us.

Piper fell asleep in her carseat,

 with her arms wrapped around the bus,

while it was still in the box.
