First Trip to the Dentist

Piper's first trip to the dentist
actually took place on March 5th,
but I'm only getting around to posting a photo now.

Does it count as Elliotte's first trip to the dentist too,
since she was there with us?
Ha!
I didn't think so.

Either way,
the dentist said that Piper did really well for a two year old.

She took the dentist by the hand
and skipped off to the office with her,
only once glancing over her shoulder to make sure I was coming too.

She hopped up into the big chair in amazement
and was excited to see a little tv screen showing Toopy and Binoo.

And that was about it.

The dentist didn't want to push her or scare her on her first visit,
so mostly just showed Piper some tools
and asked me some questions and if I had any concerns.

Of course, the only concern that I had
was that Piper still only has twelve teeth.

Apparently I need not worry,
as she should get the rest by the time she's three!

:-)

What a trooper!

Checking out the little mirror!
Counting teeth.
No teeth for this one yet, but almost a smile!!

  1. Piper looks so cute sitting on the dentist's big chair. I really love her pink jumpsuit. She is too cute. Anyway, you must be glad to know that she was in no way nervous for her first trip to the dentist. You and the dentist must have been very proud of her. Anyway, I hope she gets used to the idea, so she won't be scared for her future visits. Take care! :)

  2. Well, I don't see anything wrong with calling it as Elliotte's first trip to the dentist as well. Hahaha! Anyway, Piper seems to have done very nicely for her first trip. I'm glad to know that she was very excited to be examined by the dentist. I hope your good concern for oral health continues all throughout. All the best! :)

  3. That’s amazing! Things went fairly smooth for all of you. No tantrums were thrown, nor any tears shed. You did a great job preparing her for this. I hope that’s how well all her and Elliotte’s dentist trips would go from here on out. Have a great day!
