Waterpark Weekend Part 1

With Piper and Jack being so close in age
(just 3.5 months apart)
it is so much fun to watch them interact with each other.

There was one evening during supper
that Jack and Piper had a full-on conversation with each other,
while us adults sat back and observed.
(It's all we could do because we had no idea what they were saying.
Something about needing money to go somewhere?)

Anyway,
as we all watched these two little chatter bugs
discuss a very interesting matter,
I'm sure we were all wondering if they were really understanding each other.

It seemed as if they did,
since they were responding at appropriate times
and neither seemed surprised or dismayed when the other spoke.

And then at the end of the conversation,
Jack said something rather amusing,
since Piper turned and looked at me and giggled.

Needless to say,
this sent all of the adults at the table into painful laughter.

I'm not sure if the kids knew what was so funny,
but it was seriously the cutest thing ever!

Here are some photos of the first of two water parks
that we visited this weekend.

The kids (and parents) had a blast!!

Splish splash.
Jack going down the water slide.
Peep. Piper's turn!
Neither of these two had any fear of the water.
The faster the water slide, the better!
Holding hands and walking out of the pool.
All of that splashing makes for two hungry little hippos.
Here they are sharing a bag of popcorn twists.
We then continued on to have a picnic.
Piper thought that this was perhaps the best part.
She just kept eating and eating (very strange for her)
and wanted to feed everyone else too!
As soon as we would finish one snack,
she was looking in the bag to see what else we could all share!
This is where Miss E spent most of her weekend.
I think she's an Uncle's Little Girl!!!
I'm not sure if I saw one without the other for the whole visit.
Cousin captains manning the ship.
You can just imagine the giggles heard here...
... and here...
... and here...
... and here!!
And of course.
What would a great day be without a great nap with your thumb in your mouth?
