Piper Cee Turns Three

WE DID IT!!!

We survived the Terrible Twos!

Now time to tackle the Terrific Threes!!!

Piper had a lovely day.

By the time breakfast was over,
she had changed dresses THREE times
because being a princess means wearing many dresses!

Her daddy made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast,
which was a super treat for the birthday girl.
(She was pretty happy!)

Then we had a great time playing outside in the snow.

Of all of the princesses out there,
Piper is definitely a little Elsa.
She just LOVES the snow.
Perhaps it is a result of being born in the great white north!

The rest of the day was filled with dancing and playing
before settling down to watch Frozen after supper.

It was a lovely way to spend a third birthday!!

Thank you to everyone that sent greetings and gifts
to our sweet sweet girl.
She is incredibly fortunate to have so much love in her life.

Outfit #1: Princess Anna
Outfit #2: Princess Rapunzel
Outfit #3: A dress from the Dominican Republic
given to her by Mark's coworkers.
Having a dance party with Boots.
Notice the rosy cheeks after coming in from the cold outdoors!
Piper LOVES to eat with her hands,
so Fish Taco night was right up her alley for a birthday supper.
Fish, red cabbage, cilantro and sauce wrapped up in a tortilla.
Piper would exclaim that she loved her fish taco,
yet then ask me to pass her some more chicken and silly bread
with "some of that purple and green stuff".
Insert her mother's head shake here!
Yum!
And this little one decided not to eat her supper tonight.
Instead she thought it would be great to use it as shampoo instead.
And might I note that she thought this was VERY funny!
Very VERY funny!
And another dance party after supper.
And last, but not least,
here she is dancing while holding the phone.
Jack is singing happy birthday to her here!! :-)
Love!

PS.
When I was growing up, it was always tradition in my family for the sibling of the birthday girl to receive ONE present as well. I can vividly remember my own excitement when waiting for Krista's birthday to arrive because I knew there would surly be one present wrapped with my name on it. Well, Miss Elliotte has taken it upon herself to start this tradition in her little family as well. Today, on her big sister's birthday, she received a brand new tooth! That's number three folks. Her third tooth on her sister's third birthday. :-)
