Piper's Party

Piper's third birthday party was a success.

Lots of food.
Lots of fun.
Lots of love!

Piper was incredibly excited about her party,
so much so that she had a complete meltdown
because I couldn't speed up time
and make it happen sooner.

Essentially, I told her that the party would start after her "quiet time".

This was perfectly fine by her,
but then she decided that she wanted to start her quiet time
"RIGHT NOW".

Umm, no.
That's not how it works.

Quiet time is the same time every day.
3:00 - 4:00

She was insisting it start at 10:00 am.

TANTRUM!

It's a good thing that little miss turns THREE tomorrow.

That means that these "terrible two" tantrums will stop.

Stop laughing.
Why does everyone laugh when I say that.

This belief is the only thing that has gotten me through the twos.

It's going to be the Terrific Threes starting tomorrow.

Woo hoo!

Wishing for a Superstore Dora cake next year maybe?? 

When I asked Piper which piece of Dora she would like to eat,
she took a moment to think about it before exclaiming
"her head".
Oh sure!
Smart kid.
Dora has the biggest head in tv history.
(And the biggest lips now too!)
So funny.
Then I asked her who was going to eat Dora's stinky feet.
Her reply:
"Daddy!"
This kid makes us laugh!

Doing her little happy dance because she has cake!!!

Caitlin still has room for cake after three plates of pizza.
This wee one can eat!!
I think her and Elliotte are going to be great friends!

Time to clean up the birthday girl?
