Happy Birthday Slyvie

Today was Piper's best friend's birthday.
Sylvie turned three!

She had a lovely little birthday party
where I'm not sure who had more fun,
the adults or the kids.

We are so fortunate that they live across the street from us.
Now we have four little girls.
Sylvie is three.
Piper is two.
Caitlin is one.
Elliotte is zero.

We're all set to have a LOT of tea parties over the next few years!

Elliotte also had a lot of fun at her very first birthday party.
She took a nap in the playpen that was in the center of all of the noise.
Then she was passed around for cuddles.
Next she had a bottle (mommy had wine).
And then she came home with her very first loot bag.
She was a gem!

Piper was.... Piper!

She gets along with Sylvie just great.
Once in a while they'll have it out,
but then it's over and they're hugging again.

Piper was over the moon excited when everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' to Sylvie.
Before we even finished,
she was shouting "make a wish, Sylvie. Make a wish!"
I don't think she even knows what that means!!!

Then,
after the candles were blown out and everyone was clapping,
my sweet sweet child grabbed onto the table cloth and pulled!

Can you hear the collective gasp of every person in the room??

Thankfully someone slapped their hand onto the tablecloth,
just in time to save the cake.
It honestly moved from one side of the table to the other.

Oh.
My.
Nerves!

I don't think Piper realized what would happen if she pulled,
but she found out pretty fast.
Ooooohhhh Piper!!

Isn't she a little fattycakes?!?!
Looks like she has had one too many pieces of birthday cake already!
Excited to party!!

Very happy to have birthday cake!
