One really fabulous part about living here in Yellowknife and having Piper here, is that I've met some really wonderful other first-time-moms. Piper and I usually have at least one play-date a week with her little friends.
I'm not sure why, but there really seems to be an influx of baby boys in Yellowknife! Last week we went on a play-date where there were 7 baby boys... and Piper. lol.
It's always fun to sit back and watch the other mothers as they panic whenever their little boy gets too close to Piper. They treat her like she's made of glass, which I think is hilarious. I keep telling them not to worry because she only has boy cousins at home and needs to learn to be tough!
And that she will be, because those little pigtails are VERY enticing to little boys...
These photos were taken yesterday at a play-date with Duggan (left) and Cole (right). All babies are watching Piper's little doll which giggles when you squeeze her belly. Cole especially loves this toy (much to his mom & dad's dismay) as you can tell by his face in the photos. lol
