We got a LOT of snow yesterday.
A lot!
The storm started yesterday morning around 7:00 am,
and we still have not seen a plow.
They were actually taken off of the roads for the entire island
around 4:30 yesterday evening
and the Confederation Bridge was closed to all traffic.
Essentially PEI was shut down.
Plows were permitted back on the roads around suppertime today,
so the island is slowly getting cleaned up.
School is already cancelled for tomorrow,
since it will be impossible to have things clear by then.
It's crazy!
I believe 66 cm fell in Summerside.
Mark is really getting his money's worth out of his snow blower!!
I really didn't mind the storm at all.
Unlike last year,
when I was terrified I would go into labour with ever snowflake that fell,
this year let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Ha!
Besides,
Mark couldn't get to work this morning,
so I had an extra helper with the girls all day.
That's never more appreciated than when you're sick
and have two sick children!
Speaking of the children,
they were pretty fascinated with the snow!

I believe this is where I was telling Piper that she had to have a long serious chat with her friend Elsa. Enough is enough! |
And here I swear, Elsa is sneering at me! |
