We had a lovely snowstorm on Friday.
The snow started falling softly in the morning
and lasted throughout the day.
There was very little wind,
so it was really very lovely.
But then by evening,
the wind picked up and it got messy!
Not so bad for those of us who could stay inside and cuddle,
but it wasn't so nice for my husband
who had to work and try to make his way to call outs.
And also not so nice for my husband when he left work at 6:00am,
only to discover that he had left the side door of our van open
ALL NIGHT!
Yes.
The van was filled with snow.
FILLED.
Ugh!
In the calm after the storm, however,
Piper, Elliotte and Blue are all having a fabulous time playing in the snow.
The girls love it,
but no one will ever love it as much as Blue!

PS.
Speaking of storms, Elliotte is talking up a storm now! She is in repetition mode, where she repeats almost every word that is spoken in our house. And that is a LOT when Piper is in your house! Though she does a lot of repeating, she still loves to chatter away to herself and anyone else that will listen. This morning she walked past Blue and said, "Good morning, Blue!" I couldn't help but chuckle. She's so confident on when to say certain things (especially please and thank you), but then she'll throw a random comment out that I've never heard her say before as if it's nothing. I'm not sure I'd ever heard her say good morning before, but she's now using it, and in the right context at the right time of day. It's so darn cute!
