Smiles and Tears

Oh my. 

It has officially begun.

Up until now, 

Piper is very opinionated over which color 

cup, fork, spoon, straw, plate, etc.,

that she uses.

PINK!

Poor little Elliotte gets stuck with which ever colour

her big sister doesn't want. 

Not a big deal when the little sister doesn't care.

But now she does!!

Yesterday I gave each of my girls a cup of water. 

Piper received the pink cup

and Elliotte received the blue.

That's when Elliotte started crying and saying "no, mommy no". 

??

 I'm not talking about loud tantrum 

I'm-not-getting-my-own-way crying.

I'm talking about sad, heartbroken sobbing crying!

Big tears were rolling down her cheeks!

I kept asking her what was wrong, 

but she was too sad to answer me.

It was then that I asked her if she wanted a pink cup like Piper.

Her sad little nodding head was heartbreaking!!

Oh dear.

Now I have to make sure that I have TWO of everything in pink.

Oh my sweet sweet Elliotte!

I gave her an Elmo sandwich to make her feel better.
Along with a pink cup of course!

Big sister was excited to eat her Piper Chips!!
We found them for sale when we were last in Newfoundland,
but forgot about them.
She was pretty proud to see her name on a bag of her favorite treat!!
