I had planned for tonight's post
to be Piper's photo with Santa Claus.
I had looked up the schedule for when he would be at our little mall
and after supper we got all bundled up
and hit the road.
Piper was excited and when I would ask her if she was going to see Santa,
she would ask if she was going to sit on his knee
and if he would give her presents.
We were both excited.
And then...
We got to the mall.
And sure enough,
there was Santa.
But only Santa.
No photographer.
No camera.
Hence,
no photo.
Apparently,
you're supposed to bring your own camera
and take your own photo?!?!
I'm still confused.
Maybe we will end up taking an unexpected trip to Charlottetown
to have real photos taken this week.
I've never heard of such a thing.
Where are we???
So,
since I had to kibosh that blog post,
it will be replaced with a photo of Piper with the letter
she received in the mail from Santa.
She was pretty excited about it,
but I had a rough time getting a decent photo of her with it.
She was distracted and I was exhausted,
so it is what it is tonight!
