It's very true that you are a different mother with #2
than you were with #1.
I was SO incredibly nervous when Piper was a baby,
but with Elliotte I was much more relaxed.
I'm sure the fact that Piper was born at 35 weeks had something to do with it,
but not everything.
At 13 months old,
I'm letting Elliotte try things and eat things
that I never would allowed Piper.
I guess I'm just realizing that these tiny people are pretty hardy
and aren't nearly as fragile as I once thought!

Fun on the slide. |

Don't worry Elliotte! Big sister will catch you. (This was after she pushed her down the slide when Mommy asked her to hold on for a photo!) |

Almost got one! |

And here she is making her first attempt at climbing the slide after watching her big sister do it a few times. |

She figured out that if she tucked her fingers into the groves in the blue plastic, she could then pull herself onto the top platform. |

And there was NO hesitation to go down head first! |

What a beautiful dismount. I would consider anything tear or blood-free beautiful! ;-) |
PS. Miss Elliotte now has two more bottom teeth to keep those two in the front company.
The only problem is, is that the new teeth are the molars in the back! They're pretty far apart from each other, but teeth are teeth! We'll take whatever we can get!
